My Meal Plan

For a long time I have been trying to come up with a meal plan our outline to help me with shopping and meal planning. I am sure with time this will change, and I would love your tips and suggestions, but here is what I have as of now :) Enjoy and leave me feedback.

Sunday:
Breakfast- American hot
Lunch- Sandwiches and veggies, leftovers, or odds and ends whipped up

Monday
Breakfast- Cereal or yogurt
Lunch- Sandwiches and veggies, leftovers, or odds and ends whipped up
Dinner- Fish themed

Tuesday:
Breakfast- Cereal or yogurt
Lunch- Sandwiches and veggies, leftovers, or odds and ends whipped up
Dinner- Meat themed dish based on sales

Wednesday:
Breakfast- Cereal or yogurt
Lunch- Sandwiches and veggies, leftovers, or odds and ends whipped up
Dinner- Soup or canned themed

Thursday:
Breakfast- Cereal or yogurt
Lunch- Sandwiches and veggies, leftovers, or odds and ends whipped up
Dinner- Hot sandwiches theme

Friday:
Breakfast- Cereal or yogurt
Lunch- Sandwiches and veggies, leftovers, or odds and ends whipped up
Dinner- Frozen themes

Saturday:
Breakfast- German Hot rolls and wurst
Lunch- Sandwiches and veggies, leftovers, or odds and ends whipped up
Dinner- Vegetarian themed


Snacks: Fruit, crackers, a few sweets, veggies

Desserts: ( weekend only) Saturday: yogurt, pudding, or canned fruit Sunday: Cake of some form

This looks really great Serena. I do the same thing and my weekly menu looks pretty similar. It is easier to make meals if you know that tonight you are going to have "this" kind or meat or if it will be a vegetarian meal.
I see that you have sandwiches for lunches, (or leftovers) i've had sandwiches on my list for weeks but I try to mix it up even more by making wraps or bagel sandwiches. I realize that bagels have a TON of carbs and fat, but it is a nice change once in a blue moon! I don't know if you have access to tortillas...but wraps are fun!
Instead of mayo on sandwiches, I like using hummus. It is also pretty easy (and low cost) to make from scratch. You also have more control over how much oil, salt, etc goes into it!

Have you ever been to allrecipes.com ? That is my go-to site for meal planning. And sparkrecipes, of course!

Hey Sarah- how do you make your hummus. They do not sell it here. I have one recipe, but would love to see how you make your as well.
